    Info

The Ceremonial Show of Force is an all analog, discrete overdrive. It doesn’t utilize any opamps or diode clipping. It relies solely on cascading transistor gain stages to create a versatile, uniquely textured, overdrive experience. The pedal is designed to help you acheive your perfect overdrive tone whether you use a clean or dirty amp. Set the bias switch to the left with the drive turned down for vintage pushed clean tones, or set it to the right with drive turned up for dirty textural modern overdrive. This pedal bridges the gap between vintage and modern overdrive tones.

The input voltage on CSOF is internally boosted for greater headroom and clarity. CSOF also utilizes true bypass relay switching and overvoltage protection. The circuit features a JFET input buffer, transformer isolation, and high quality components throughout.

    Controls:

Level: Controls overall output level. Clockwise is louder, counter-clockwise is quieter. This pedal is very loud so start with it low and increase to taste.
Drive: Controls how much overdrive and saturation is created within the circuit. Clockwise is more, counter-clockwise is less. Interactive with body and bias controls.
Tone: Controls the overall EQ. At noon, it is essentially flat, turn clockwise for more treble and less bass. Turn counter-clockwise for more bass and less treble.
Body: Controls the amount of low end entering the circuit. Turn counter-clockwise to tighten up the low end and reduce low frequency saturation. Turn clockwise to increase thickness and overall saturation.
Bias: Controls the internal bias voltage of one of the gain stages. To the left is low bias, to the right is high bias.

    • Low Bias: lower gain, looser texture, vintage feel.
    • High Bias: higher gain, tighter, thick modern tone.

    Power:
•Standard 2.1mm center negative power only.
    •9V DC Only.
    •Current Draw: 30mA
•Use an isolated power supply. Daisy chains will often work fine but can introduce unwanted noise.
